Andy Washnik Wood Carving -"Ramona"
The wood used to carve "Ramona" is called Laurier Canelle or Elongatam Vitae. It was given to me by Jallim Eudovic who along with his father run a fabulous carving studio called Eudovic's Art Studio on the island of St. Lucia. I highly recommend their work. The wood was fabulous to carve with increadible grain. Thanks Jallim!

I promised better before photos. The image on the bottom right shows what the wood looked like before I started. Click on any image for a larger view.
